As the first ever dual-purpose air purifier, the Vortex 4000 HVP was designed to meet the stringent requirements of both ASHRAE Standard 241-2023 IRMM, focused on minimizing the risk of airborne viral transmission, and ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2022’s Indoor Air Quality Procedure (IAQP), which dictates minimum ventilation rates needed to ensure safe and healthy indoor air quality while effectively reducing energy consumption and promoting sustainability and decarbonization goals. The unit’s unique design enables it to function at 2,000 CFM during normal operation (IAQP), and at a powerful 4,000 CFM during Infection Risk Management Mode (IRMM), as per ASHRAE Standard 241.

With new indoor air quality and ventilation standards in place to define acceptable indoor air quality, promote resiliency during times of heightened risk, and mitigate adverse health effects to building occupants, AirBox is an ideal solution for engineers and building owners.
