The Antimicrobial Filter is the second stage of filtration for the Apex 2.0 Series with an efficiency value of MERV 9 and 9-A and an ISO ePM-55. This filter is a unique proprietary dual-layer blended polyester media enclosed in the industry’s strongest moisture resistant beverage board frame and treated with an EPA registered antimicrobial agent that provides 24/7 product protection and inhibits microbial growth on the filter. If your environment has no known issues or concerns of VOC and chemical presence, you can use the Double Antimicrobial filter kit in your Apex air cleaning system.
