The Antimicrobial Treated Filter is the first stage of filtration for the Mesa Series air purifier. This filter is a unique proprietary pleated polyester media enclosed in the industry’s strongest moisture resistant beverage board frame and treated with an EPA registered antimicrobial agent that provides 24/7 product protection and inhibits microbial growth on the filter.

This first stage of filtration also prolongs the life of the final HEPA filtration stage. We recommend changing the Antimicrobial Filter every 3 months for maximum effectiveness.
